Guess what?!? We went on Disney’s newest ship, the Disney Wish to celebrate some milestone birthdays and anniversaries! It’s so beautiful! We did a 4-day sailing from Port Canaveral, with stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney’s gorgeous private island.

As you can probably tell from past trip recaps, we do not like to fly down the day of the cruise, or even the day before, with all the flight issues nowadays. Just not willing to take that risk. I don’t recommend it for you either. Our threshold is to fly at least 2 days beforehand. That way, if there are catastrophic flight delays, we have enough time to drive there if absolutely necessary. And if we make it down in time, we have the extra fun of doing Disney World for a day or two! We also like to stay down there at least a day after a cruise cause it’s way too sad to have to fly home directly after a cruise.

Sooo, for this trip, we did exactly that! Luckily, no flight issues, so we had 2 days before and 1 day after our cruise to do Disney World!
