We always thought that we were not “cruise people”. Our vacations are just not the laying by the beach style. We like to be on the go and constantly do and see things, so we thought a cruise would be too laid back for us. However, we did our first cruise, of course, a Disney cruise, in 2014, and we were hooked! We had such an awesome time! The service was terrific, the food was delicious, and the activities were plentiful! We never just “laid by the beach” for long, although you could if you wanted to. Plus, you still get that Disney magical vibe on a much more relaxing trip than a Disney World park trip.
Since that first one, we have sailed on each of the 5 current Disney ships for over 12 cruises. We’ve sailed on the Fantasy to the Caribbean, the Wonder to Alaska, the Magic to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Canada, and the Dream and the Wish to the Bahamas. We’re now eyeing the other new ships when they set sail in the next few years. Fingers crossed.
Luckily, planning a Disney cruise is much easier than planning a Disney park trip. However, there are still many tips ‘n tricks that’ll improve your experience and several key details to plan. I’ll post more information on the pages below, but feel free to ask any specific questions that I may not have covered. I can help you to love Disney cruising as much as we do.
