Well, we managed to get everything back in our bags and headed down to the luggage hold area to store them until later. We don’t have to leave for the airport until 4pm, so we’re going to make the most of the remaining few hours.

We went to take the Skyliner for one last trip to EPCOT. Look at the cool views that you get on the way there! We love the Skyliner!

Of course, we start working our way around the countries again. Did you notice that the little model railroad display near Germany always changes its mini banners to match the current festival banners? So detailed!

We make our way over to Italy for an early lunch reservation at Via Napoli. This was the restaurant that we had our first lunch at on the first day of this trip, so we’ve come full circle! We got the margarita pizza again and mozzarella sticks this time. Those mozzarella sticks had incredible cheese pull on them! So good!

After lunch, we continued working our way around the countries. Did you know that the temple in China houses a display of the cool rides at Shanghai Disney? It’s on our bucket list to make it to all the other Disney parks around the world as well. So far, we’ve only made it to Tokyo Disney and DisneySea. Those parks are amazing though and we can’t wait to go back once their Fantasyland expansion is completed in a few years. Those parks are amazing!

In Norway, we explored the Vikings exhibit and learned more about Thor and Loki.

Anna was there greeting folks as well. She takes turns coming out with Elsa. Mary Poppins was in front of the UK garden and several princesses rode across the France bridge in a horse-drawn carriage.

We tried a few last drinks at the festival kiosks, and I had to get the UK Yorkshire House fish and chips before I left. I missed getting them all week because we usually would get here after dinner, and I would be full already, but I had to now. These are one of my most favorite Disney foods! I get cravings for this every so often at home! They’re thaaaaat good! Light and crispy! OMG!

By now, it was getting to be late afternoon, so we took some final pictures around the park as we headed out.

Alas, we took one last Skyliner ride back to Pop to get our bags.

It was time for our “Tragical Express” bus pickup to head to the airport. It’s always sad to leave here, but we also know that we’ll be back soon, hopefully. Bye, Pop!

Luckily, the flight home was nothing to write home about, unlike our flight down. It was on time and everything went smoothly! Since it was still daylight for most of it, I even got some cool flying pictures! I love flying scenery!

We had a great week! After such a tough year and a half, it was kind of emotional and cathartic to be there. Disney was always our happy place. There’s just something truly magical there if you let yourself be immersed in it. There’s just some sort of different feeling and aura there. It’s hard to convey in words, even with everything I wrote in these recaps. For a small period of time, you can literally feel the weight off your shoulders from the usual cares of the real world. I think we all need a little bit of that every so often. We hope to come back in a few months to top off our pixie dust again. If you followed along on our whole trip, I hope you had fun too and got some ideas for your future trips. As Mickey would say, see ya real soon!!
