Pay only half of your required deposit if you book a new Disney cruise by August 9, 2024! Disney Cruise Line offers tropical cruises to the Caribbean or The Bahamas and fun-filled itineraries to Alaska, Europe, Mexico, and beyond.

This is a limited-time offer on select sailings between October 2024 and March 2025 that do not require final payment at the time of booking, but must be booked by August 9th, so jump on it before the ships fill up.

Eligible departure dates are:

Taxes, fees, port expenses, Port Adventures, and gratuities are separate and not included in the deposit amount. This promotion is not valid on categories with restrictions (IGT, OGT, VGT), suites, or Concierge-level staterooms, and cannot be combined with any other promotions, offers, or discounts.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening Date

Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Disney has announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening on June 28, 2024 in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California!

Join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis on their journey through a shimmering bayou as they prepare for a spirited celebration during Mardi Gras season. Along the way, you’ll see familiar faces and make new friends as you’re brought into the next chapter of Tiana’s inspiring story.

This ride will use a virtual queue when it first opens. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening. It will also be included as a Lightning Lane option in the Disney Genie+ service.

Preview opportunities ahead of the official grand opening are available for Florida-based Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and eligible Disney Vacation Club members on select days in June. Park reservation and Virtual Queue passes are needed.

Tianas Beignets

Beginning opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up light, sweet and fluffy beignets drizzled with honey and powdered sugar. These will be available for a limited time only so let the good times roll. Of course, there will also be Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and “The Princess and the Frog”-inspired merchandise.

This new ride is a re-theme of the previous Splash Mountain ride. Favorite components of that ride will be returning such as the 50 foot drop, the ride photo, and the chance to get wet. The new theming and animatronics look amazing! Are you excited?

If you are planning a trip this summer, take note how this could effect you. Magic Kingdom will be very crowded near the opening date. If you have a ticket type that still requires making park reservations, check before you buy and make those reservations asap since the reservations for Magic Kingdom may fill up fast, especially for opening day. If you want to ride this, read up on how best to get a Virtual Queue pass or buy Genie+ and plan to do it as you can’t just walk up to line up..

Feel free to contact me if you want to chat about planning a Disney trip.

The Disney Fantasy will visit Northern Europe to the Mediterranean from May to late July with 5-night to 12-night sailings departing from Barcelona, Spain, and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. Some of the picturesque ports include the Greek Isles; Gothenburg, Sweden; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Santorini, Greece; and Valetta, Malta. From late July to September, the Disney Fantasy will sail from Southampton, United Kingdom, to numerous destinations, including Spain, Norway, and the British Isles. The Disney Wonder will again embark on adventures to Alaska from Vancouver, Canada, with five-, seven-, eight- and nine-night sailings from May to September. Soak in Alaska’s natural beauty with exciting port adventures to Alaska’s majestic glaciers and gold mining relics. We went on one of these cruises several years ago, and it exceeded all expectations. It remains one of our all-time favorites!

The Disney Dream will sail from Fort Lauderdale on three-night to five-night sailings to one or both of Disney’s magical island destinations along with Nassau or Cozumel.

The Disney Treasure, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will follow its inaugural season with seven-night itineraries from Port Canaveral to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

The Disney Wish and Disney Magic will sail out of Port Canaveral to tropical escapes in The Bahamas and Caribbean, including Disney’s magical island destinations of Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. The Wish will sail three-night and four-night sailings to Nassau and the beloved beaches of Disney Castaway Cay. The Magic will sail mostly four-night and five-night sailings and one special 10-night southern Caribbean sailing in July that will take families to both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations along with Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
