Incase you were wondering what Disney event happened the year that you were born, here ya go!

We may not be able to spend the holidays at Disney this year, but we can bring a little Disney to our holidays at home. Here are some cute ideas for you.

You may have heard by now that Disney has been hit hard by Covid too. The parks were affected by lengthy shutdowns, and even upon opening, still have limited attendance and restrictions. This has caused them to need to lay off thousands of employees.
Here are some efforts that have sprung up so far to help these folks that have given us so much joy over the years. We’ve donated already. If you are able and willing, please look into these also.
Of course, there are many, many others around the world affected by Covid as well. Please support your local community resources also.
Thanks!

Disney World just announced room discounts for early 2021 bookings, ranging from 20-35% off depending on the resort category. There are also other specials for the rest of 2020 still.
Read about the special offers here:

Things have been quiet here. We’re still hunkering down at home. Hopefully, you’re staying safe too.
If you want to plan for future Disney trips, Disney just announced some new openings. Disney resorts in Orlando can now be booked through the end of 2021, which encompasses the 50th anniversary of WDW in Oct if you want to be there for the celebration. Disney cruises are about to open bookings thru April 2022. Be aware of the new safety restrictions and cancellation policies before you book though.
Here are the links to the listings. Let me know if you want to discuss anything or would like me to help you book them.

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), of which Disney and most other cruise lines are a member of, has decided to suspend cruises sailing from U.S. ports until October 31, 2020. If you have a cruise currently booked through early November, check with that cruise line to see how they’re handling cancellations. If you would like help with your cruise plans, please feel free to contact me.

We may not be able to sail this Fall, but we can plan for next Fall. Hopefully, the conditions will improve enough by then for cruising to be safe.
Disney just announced the itineraries for their Fall 2021 sailings, and booking starts next week. It’s usually cheapest to book with initial release day prices. You just need to put down a deposit for now. Just be mindful of the cancellation deadlines.
We love Disney cruises and can’t wait to do another one. If you want help planning your next cruise, feel free to contact me.

The Disney World theme parks in Orlando Florida are open again! Very exciting!
However, whether or not you should go yet is going to vary based on your situation. What is your health and safety tolerance? Is this one of your first or only trips or do you go pretty often? Are you willing and able to abide by the changes and restrictions in place?
Of course, there are many changes due to Covid safety. I hesitate to list them all here though because they’re changing literally day by day, but the biggest things of note are going to be the reduced capacity and the need to reserve park reservations in addition to having a park ticket, no park hopping, no fast passes, and the requirement to wear masks everywhere except when you’re eating.
If you are interested in going to the theme parks now, including any other theme parks that are open such as Universal, SeaWorld, etc, make sure to read about their new changes on their websites. If you would like help with your trip plans, feel free to contact me.

The Disney parks will be drastically different from your last trip due to Covid safety. Stay up to date on the latest here, especially on the need to make park reservations for entry, in addition to having your ticket. Things are changing day by day, so check back often, and some of it can be a little confusing. Feel free to contact me if you want help with your plans.

Sadly, cruise sailings out of all U.S. ports have been suspended until September 15th for now. If you had a trip booked, check how your cruise line is handling the current situation. If you want any help with your cruise trips, feel free to contact me.
