Support Disney cast members
You may have heard by now that Disney has been hit hard by Covid too. The parks were affected by lengthy shutdowns, and even upon opening, still have limited attendance and restrictions. This has caused them to need to lay off thousands of employees.
Here are some efforts that have sprung up so far to help these folks that have given us so much joy over the years. We’ve donated already. If you are able and willing, please look into these also.

- Support the Cast Member Pantry
- Support cast members’ small businesses
- More ways to support cast members
Of course, there are many, many others around the world affected by Covid as well. Please support your local community resources also.

Greetings to those who are celebrating this today! Here are some travel related Star Wars activities that we can do virtually for now.
Earth Day
April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Staying at home has already improved the environment in many ways. While we’re home, we can plan to travel sustainably in the future, and participate in other events to continue playing our part to protect our planet. These are just some that I’ve come across. There many more online.
