Disney Cruise Line Summer 2025 Itineraries Announced

Disney Cruise Line Summer 2025 Itineraries Announced

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailing itineraries for summer 2025. They include sailings to/from the Bahamas, Caribbean, Alaska, and, for the first time ever, European sailings to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe on board the Disney Fantasy!

The Disney Fantasy will visit Northern Europe to the Mediterranean from May to late July with 5-night to 12-night sailings departing from Barcelona, Spain, and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. Some of the picturesque ports include the Greek Isles; Gothenburg, Sweden; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Santorini, Greece; and Valetta, Malta. From late July to September, the Disney Fantasy will sail from Southampton, United Kingdom, to numerous destinations, including Spain, Norway, and the British Isles. Start the European adventure with a 13-night transatlantic voyage from Port Canaveral to cosmopolitan Barcelona, featuring stops at Disney Castaway Cay, Portugal, and Spain.

The Disney Wonder will again embark on adventures to Alaska from Vancouver, Canada, with five-, seven-, eight- and nine-night sailings from May to September. Soak in Alaska’s natural beauty with exciting port adventures to Alaska’s majestic glaciers and gold mining relics. We went on one of these cruises several years ago, and it exceeded all expectations. It remains one of our all-time favorites!

The Disney Dream will sail from Fort Lauderdale on three-night to five-night sailings to one or both of Disney’s magical island destinations along with Nassau or Cozumel.

The Disney Treasure, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will follow its inaugural season with seven-night itineraries from Port Canaveral to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

The Disney Wish and Disney Magic will sail out of Port Canaveral to tropical escapes in The Bahamas and Caribbean, including Disney’s magical island destinations of Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. The Wish will sail three-night and four-night sailings to Nassau and the beloved beaches of Disney Castaway Cay. The Magic will sail mostly four-night and five-night sailings and one special 10-night southern Caribbean sailing in July that will take families to both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations along with Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.

Booking Information

Bookings begin on different days next week, starting Monday, March 18, 2024, for different levels of Castaway Cay members and other Disney affinity groups. General members (those who have never sailed on a Disney cruise) can book on Friday, March 22, 2024.

  • March 20 – Gold Castaway Club

Disney The Tale of Moana

Moana show

Disney Cruise Line announced the third stage show that will be on the Disney Treasure when it starts sailing in December 2024! Drumroll….

It will be “Disney The Tale of Moana“!

The show will follow Moana on a journey to save her island after she is chosen to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Gramma Tala, Maui, and Tamatoa will join Moana, along with songs from the film’s original soundtrack.

Update 1/12/2024: Disney just revealed some artist renderings of scenes from the show. It will begin in modern day on the fictional island of Motunui, in a set design filled with hints of brilliant cultures of the Pacific Islands that will appear throughout the show. In one iconic scene, The Walt Disney Theatre will transform from the island of Motunui into the open ocean!

Moana will join “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” in the Walt Disney Theatre. The stage shows on the Disney ships are Broadway-quality shows and one of our favorite parts of a Disney cruise. Don’t miss them!

Visit my Disney Treasure Revealed post for more details about this ship.

Disney Treasure Funnel

Construction of the Disney Treasure is speeding along. This month, the forward funnel arrived at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany! Exciting!

Holiday Cruise

Disney Wish ship grand atrium

Guess what? We’re sailing on the newest ship, the Disney Wish! Isn’t she gorgeous!?!

We set sail the day after Christmas. So far, we’ve already explored the ship, ate a lot, and did a bunch of fun activities! Last night, we even capped the night off with the only fireworks at sea for Pirate Night!

Today is our Castaway Cay port day, at Disney’s beautiful private island. It’s our favorite Bahamian port. Perfect white sand beaches, BBQ lunch provided by the ship, and lots of fun activities.

Follow along here (trip recap coming soon) and on my Instagram (adventures_by_anne) for more details and pics.

New Offer: 50% Off Deposits on Disney Cruises

Disney Cruise Line

Pay only half of your required deposit if you book a Disney cruise by February 16, 2024! Disney Cruise Line offers tropical cruises to the Caribbean or The Bahamas and fun-filled itineraries to Alaska, Europe, Mexico, and beyond.

This is a limited-time offer on select sailings between June 17, 2024 and May 31, 2025 that do not require final payment at the time of booking, but must be booked by February 16th, so jump on it before the ships fill up.

This offer makes the deposit about 10% of the cruise price. The balance won’t be due until your final payment date about 3 months before the sail date, so you have time to plan and save.

This is not valid on Disney Treasure sailings departing December 21, 2024 through January 4, 2025. It’s also not valid on categories with restrictions (IGT, OGT, VGT), suites, or Concierge-level staterooms, and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

DCL Youth Club Age Changes

DCL Kids Clubs
© Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line just announced a change to the age ranges for the youth activity clubs, effective on all ships’ sailings starting on or after December 21, 2023.

This change shifts 11-12 year olds from Oceaneers to Edge. These are the new age ranges.

Oceaneers Club/Lab: 3 – 10 years

Edge: 11 – 14 years

Vibe: 14 – 17 years

Yes, this means 14 year olds can go to both Edge and Vibe. That’s not a typo.

Only children within these age ranges will be allowed to enter the respective activity spaces during normal operational hours.

A few times each cruise, especially on the first day, the clubs will have Open House hours, where adults and children outside of those ages can visit the clubs to see what they’re like. Check the DCL app’s activities listing for those times.

Feel free to contact me if you want to chat more about the youth activities or Disney cruises in general.

Happy Birthday Mickey & Minnie

Today’s Trivia: November 18th is celebrated as Mickey and Minnie’s birthdays because they first appeared publicly in the short film “Steamboat Willy” on November 18, 1928.

Happy Birthday Mickey & Minnie!

The pic above is from our last Very Merrytime Disney cruise. So much fun! We love the holidays at Disney!

Details Announced for Disney Lookout Cay

Disney Lookout Cay

We just got info about some of the venues at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Lookout Cay is Disney Cruise Line’s newest retreat on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas.

Guests will arrive at Mabrika Cove, which means “welcome” from the indigenous people of The Bahamas, and experience the warmth of the Bahamian culture.

Goombay Cultural Center

The colorful Goombay Cultural Center will invite guests to join in the “Junkanoo” celebration, a signature Bahamian festival filled with joyous music and vibrant parades.

The Triton’s Trumpet Stage area will provide plenty of fun family entertainment, while Serenity Bay will be an 18+ retreat featuring a tranquil beach, dining area, and private cabanas available for reservation.

Shop for souvenirs at Treasures of Eleuthera, which will feature locally made gifts and crafts by Bahamian artists.

Lookout Cay beach

I’m sure there are many more fun features yet to be revealed. Follow along and I’ll share them as I hear about them.

Several of the Disney cruise ships will begin making port calls to this island on their Summer 2024 sailings, already available for booking. Some sailings will even have port stops at both Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay, Disney’s current gorgeous Bahamian island! Those sound awesome! Bucket list!

The initial sailings to Lookout Cay will be in high demand. If you’re interested in booking one of those sailings, do so soon. If you want to chat about booking a cruise, feel free to contact me.
