Disney Destiny Has Arrived

Disney Destiny

The Disney Destiny has arrived at Port Canaveral, Florida! Isn’t she gorgeous??

The Disney Destiny is the seventh and newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. She joins the sister ships of the Wish class, the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, both based in Florida right now.

Disney Destiny

The Disney Destiny just completed her 2-week journey to America on Sunday night, November 2, 2025, from the shipyard in Germany. She will spend a short time in Port Canaveral, probably doing some media and preview cruises, before sailing to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for her Inaugural Season. The Disney Destiny will sail on her Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025!

Disney Destiny

The Disney Destiny will primarily sail 4-night and 5-night cruises, with a few 7-night cruises sprinkled in, from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will contain a port day at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, or its newest private destination, Lookout Cay. Some sailings have port stops at both locations!

Disney Destiny Grand Hall

In a departure from the other ships, the theming will be based on Heroes and Villains and feature a very different style and color scheme. The Grand Hall takes inspiration from Black Panther for the Vibranium chandelier and armor metalwork, and will feature T’Challa as the main statue. Marvel theming will also be prominent in other areas of the ship, such as Spiderman being the stern character.

Lion King dinner show restaurant

Restaurants, lounges, and staterooms will be inspired by other heroes and villains, such as The Lion King (a new dinner show restaurant), Marvel, Dr. Strange, Cruella de Vil, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, Haunted Mansion, Iron Man, and more.

Hercules stage show

The stage shows will be Disney Seas the Adventure, Frozen—A Musical Spectacular, and, unique to the Disney Destiny ship, a new show based on Disney Hercules! This spectacular, mythical journey of good vs. evil remains true to the film’s essence, yet will present a fresh, modern take for a live theatre audience with pop and gospel musical influences.

Stay tuned for the livestream of the Disney Destiny Christening Ceremony next Monday night, November 10, 2025, at 6:30pm ET. The Disney Cruise Line Blog and social media channels will also reveal sneak peeks of the ship all day.

Destiny Christening Ceremony

The first set of Inaugural Sailings from November 2025 through May 2027 is on sale now!

If you are a Disney, Pixar, and Marvel fan, this is the ship for you. We can’t wait to check out this unique ship! If you want to chat more about Disney cruises or are interested in booking a cruise, please contact me.

Disney Cruise sunsets are my favorite!

Disney Adventure Inaugural Sailings on Sale

Disney Cruise Line has announced that their first ship to home port in Asia, the Disney Adventure, will set sail from Singapore on December 15, 2025!

Booking is open now for Castaway Club members and for the general public on December 10, 2024.

The Disney Adventure will sail 3-night and 4-night cruises at sea, meaning there will be no port stops for these sailings. Instead, partake in magical adventures on the ship with 7 imaginatively themed areas based on the tales of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar – Disney Imagination Garden, Town Square, Marvel Landing, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, Disney Discovery Reef, and Wayfinder Bay.

Disney Imagination Garden

At the heart of the ship, amid a charming courtyard and majestic stage, lies a special gathering place brimming with the magic of 100 years of Disney storytelling.

Because every story begins with a spark of imagination, your holiday at sea begins here, with a high-energy Let’s Set Sail dance party. Throughout your voyage, you can also catch captivating stage performances like Avengers Assemble!, spot some favorite Disney Characters and enjoy Indian and Pacific cuisines at Gramma Tala’s Kitchen and Mowgli’s Eatery.

Town Square

Celebrating the Disney Princesses from Tangled, Cinderella, Frozen, The Princess and the Frog and more, this fantastical area offers lavishly themed dining, quaint cafés and lounges, imaginative salons and stunning shops.

As the ship’s premier indoor entertainment hub, Town Square is also home to the iconic Walt Disney Theatre, where enchanting Broadway-style shows spring to life—and Spellbound, the shadowy lounge inspired by the Evil Queen from the Disney Animation Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Marvel Landing

A fun-filled adventure zone on the high seas awaits you at Marvel Landing. Located on the ship’s upper deck, this mighty area is a celebration of all things Marvel, where new recruits and seasoned Super Heroes alike can avenge their need for adventure with 3 brand-new, supercharged attractions.

Ironcycle Test Run – test-drive Tony Stark’s latest Ironcycle prototype on a thrilling 820-foot-long rollercoaster, the longest at sea, suspended up to 30 feet above the upper decks.

Pym Quantum Racers – steer Pym Tech-modified mini-cars on an oversized toy set track.

Groot Galaxy Spin – take off on an out-of-this-world flight onboard a Nova Corp Bass Jumper, set to an awesome mix of upbeat music.

San Fransokyo Street

The vibrant energy of Tokyo meets the laid-back charm of San Francisco on this lively “street” inspired by the Disney film Big Hero 6. Secret entrances to urban-themed tween and teen youth clubs are located within 2 of the street’s charming shops—Edge of the Bay Café and Vibe Records.

At the end of the street, guests can check out the action at a trolley stop, a cable car lounge, a shopping area, and Baymax Cinemas, showing classic and newly released Disney films.

One of the highlights of San Fransokyo Street is Big Hero Arcade, a one-of-a-kind family gaming lounge featuring video games and immersive, high-tech experiences—plus a chance to meet the one and only Baymax, the film’s larger-than-life healthcare companion robot. The Hiro Training Zone is an immersive full-body training simulator that will allow you to put your skills to the test as you run, dodge, and block your way across a high-tech gaming floor.

Toy Story Place

Dive into aquatic family fun as the whimsical world of the Pixar Toy Story films spring to life in surprising and imaginative ways. This lively area, spanning the center of the upper decks, takes the joy of play to infinity and beyond, with the Sunnyside Family Pool, Woody and Jessie’s Wild Slides, the Flying Saucer Splash Zone, the Toy Story Splash Pad and several whirlpool spas.

The family can also enjoy watching Disney films on 2 jumbo screens. And when it’s time to refuel, enjoy a quick bite from Pizza Planet or a soft-serve ice cream from Wheezy’s Freezies.

Disney Discovery Reef

Immerse yourself in the enchanting underwater tales of The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Lilo & Stitch, and Luca at this expansive open-air retreat at the back of the ship.

Savor tasty offerings at Cosmic Kebabs. Sip on a wickedly delicious bubble tea at Bewitching Boba and Brews. Explore the breezy sports bar, Taverna Portorosso, and the walkup coffee bar, Palo Café, both inspired by the picturesque coastal Italian village featured in the Pixar movie Luca.

This breezeway is also home to upscale dining at Palo Trattoria and Mike and Sulley’s Flavors of Asia.

All of this and more is set amid dazzling coral reefs and soft sunlight filtering through glass canopies. By night, witness the area transform into a wondrous bioluminescent paradise.

Wayfinder Bay

When the spirit of discovery beckons, follow your heart to this outdoor oasis of relaxation and entertainment inspired by the Disney film Moana.

Lounge on tiered deck seating, cool down with a refreshing beverage from the shaded Wayfinder Bar or unwind in the sparkling wading pool.

The pool area, featuring a massive screen, also doubles as a unique performance venue for interactive events and live shows like Moana: Call of the Sea.

Entertainment

Set sail on an adventure at sea brimming with dazzling musicals, upbeat deck parties, Disney movie screenings, and unforgettable meet and greets with some of your favorite pals from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. There will also be karaoke, game shows, and more signature events.

Enjoy Broadway-style entertainment, including an all-new musical spectacular developed exclusively for the Disney Adventure, “Remember,” starring Disney-Pixar’s Wall-E and other beloved Disney stars. In addition, “Disney Seas the Adventure” will take guests on a musical journey through beloved stories featuring iconic Disney songs and characters.

Kids, tweens, and teens can embark on new adventures of their own in unique, dedicated spaces overflowing with interactive fun.

While the kids are off having the time of their lives in clubs created just for them, adults can enjoy elevated adult experiences. Enjoy luxurious spa treatments, intimate dining, specialty shopping, guided beverage tastings, and captivating bars and lounges.

Dining

Savor everything from elegant culinary journeys to made-to-order casual fare at magically themed restaurants throughout the ship.

Disney Cruise Line will continue its signature rotational dining concept on this ship, in which guests will have three distinctly Disney dining experiences for dinner during their voyage, with a preset dining schedule. You will be accompanied by the same dedicated service team assigned to your dining party as you rotate to each restaurant throughout the voyage.

Guests will enjoy a wide array of dining options with Asian cuisine and other international favorites.

Navigator’s Club will honor the prestigious maritime tradition of exclusive “captain’s table” dinners.

Hollywood Spotlight Club will evoke the glitz and glamour of the golden age of Hollywood.

Guests will also dine at one of two magically animated restaurants celebrating the art and artistry, as well as the legacy, of Disney and Pixar animated films. This will be a one-of-a-kind experience where the dining rooms will transform from black-and-white to full- spectrum color throughout the meal and guests’ drawings spring to life and star alongside famous characters in a show-stopping, on-screen animated finale throughout the dining rooms.

Animator’s Palate will be adorned with film strips and props from favorite movies such as Disney Animation’s The Little Mermaid and Encanto and Pixar’s Toy Story.

Animator’s Table will feature authentic artwork from iconic films such as Disney Animation’s Aladdin and Frozen and Pixar’s Finding Nemo, showcasing the process of transforming a hand-drawn sketch into living animation.

The Enchanted Summer Restaurant and Pixar Market Restaurant will serve buffet-style breakfast and lunch each day, then switch to table-service dinners as part of the dinnertime lineup during each voyage.

Enchanted Summer Restaurant will be a cozy village dining hall inspired by Disney Animation’s Tangled and Frozen.

Pixar Market Restaurant in Toy Story Place will be a celebration of Pixar films. Each dining area will capture the spirit of one of the studio’s beloved films, from Inside Out and Monsters University to Turning Red, The Incredibles, and more.

In addition to the elaborately themed restaurants, guests can choose from a diverse array of dining options – including fine dining, scrumptious snacks, quick-service restaurants, 24-hour room service, themed lounges, and gourmet cafés.

Accommodations

The staterooms on the Disney Adventure will blend modern comfort with the enchanting spirit of beloved Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel stories. Each stateroom will feature thoughtful amenities, family-friendly conveniences, and special Disney touches.
