Pay 50% Deposit on Select Disney Cruises

Book a Disney cruise by March 14, 2025, and pay only half of your required deposit on the day you make your reservation.

This offer is valid on any new reservation for select Disney cruises departing between June 16, 2025, and May 31, 2026, that does not require final payment at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due at the time of final payment.

Disney Cruise Line Summer 2026 Itineraries Announced

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailing itineraries for Summer 2026, offering family vacations to Alaska, Europe, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Bookings open Monday, February 10, 2025!

From the pristine shorelines of Alaska and the charming cobblestone streets in the British Isles to sun-drenched beaches in the Bahamas and the vibrant, historical cities of Italy to the endless opportunities for exploration onboard the Disney Adventure departing from the shores of Singapore, these Disney Cruise Line sailings will offer every flavor of vacation.

Alaskan Adventures from Vancouver

Beginning in May, both the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder will embark on seven-night voyages from Vancouver, Canada. Ports of call will include Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, all famous for their prehistoric glaciers, rich histories, and eclectic shopping. In addition, you’ll sail up close to Dawes Glacier, a majestic tidewater glacier that towers over 600 feet tall.

New European Escapes

As the Disney Dream returns to Europe for the summer, it will invite guests to travel to picture-perfect ports across Italy, Greece, Croatia, Malta, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. It will kick off summer with a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to Barcelona, Spain. For the first time, the Disney Dream will call on the island city of Cagliari, located in Sardinia, Italy, a brand-new destination for Disney Cruise Line.

Tropical Getaways from Florida

Guests seeking a sunny escape can depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, on three different Disney Cruise Line ships for destinations in the Bahamas and Eastern or Western Caribbean, including stops at Disney’s tropical retreats, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The Disney Fantasy will primarily sail on four- and five-night Bahamian voyages, with one 10-night cruise to the Southern Caribbean.

The Disney Wish will depart on three- and four-night Bahamian voyages.

The Disney Treasure will embark on seven-night sailings to the Eastern or Western Caribbean, giving guests a chance to soak up rays on the beautiful beaches of Tortola, British Virgin Islands; Falmouth, Jamaica; Cozumel, Mexico, and more.

Disney Destiny Inaugural Sailings from South Florida

Departing on four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Destiny, which launches in November of 2025, will visit Nassau, The Bahamas, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Destiny will also offer two seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean during the summer season.

Disney Adventure Inaugural Sailings from Singapore

The Disney Adventure will set sail in December 2025 and offer a lineup of three-night and four-night itineraries from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore from April through summer 2026.

On board the Disney Adventure, guests will unlock epic experiences celebrating beloved stories from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. From three brand-new, Marvel-themed attractions at sea to an array of dining options and Broadway-style musical spectaculars, including “Remember,” developed exclusively for the Disney Adventure, there is much in store for guests to discover.

Booking Information

Bookings begin on different days next week, starting Monday, February 10, 2025, for different levels of Castaway Cay members and other Disney affinity groups. General members (those who have never sailed on a Disney cruise) can book on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Costs are generally the lowest when you book during this initial release, and some of the more popular itineraries can sell out quickly. Expect long waits on the phone with DCL. If you don’t need to apply a placeholder or credit to your new booking, it’s definitely going to be faster to book on the DCL website starting at 8 a.m. ET or have a travel agent do it for you.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass Expands Again

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, Walt Disney World will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all Disney World guests.

The booking window will be consistent with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, allowing guests to purchase this option in advance of their visit. Guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes for days they have valid theme park admission starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time on their first day of eligibility. The pass continues to be offered in very limited quantities.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other select hotels can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes starting 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay, for their length of stay (up to 14 days). This early-planning benefit is available to registered guests staying at:

Disney Resort hotels
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
Shades of Green Resort

Guests not staying in a Disney Resort hotel can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes 3 days in advance. See additional details below, which vary based on admission type:

Guests with date-based theme park tickets (which require the Guest to choose a start date at the time of purchase) can purchase 3 days before the first day of their ticket, for the total number of valid admission days on their ticket.
Guests with other ticket types can purchase 3 days before their park visit.
Annual Passholders can purchase 3 days before their park visit.

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2025

This year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is about to start on Friday and will run from January 17 – February 24, 2025 at Disney World. This festival will showcase the fine arts, performance arts, and culinary arts.

A highlight of this festival is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series where major Broadway stars perform songs from Disney Broadway musicals. Shows take place on select days at 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8:00pm at the America Gardens Theatre in the America pavilion. The list of performers is listed on the concert series page above. Check it often for the latest updates.

If you want to guarantee yourself a seat, you may want to book a dining package. Some shows will fill up fast.

Throughout the day around the World Showcase, other musical acts will also be performing.

Another key component will be the unique food booths showcasing dishes with a more artistic flair. Some look almost too pretty to eat!

One of the most unique features of this festival will be the many opportunities to see and participate in artistic activities yourself.

Artists will be showcasing their paintings and even painting live during the day. You can also join your fellow park-goers in painting a giant paint-by-numbers type wall mural.

Other artists will be drawing the most amazing 3D chalk art images on the sidewalks that you can then take pictures with. You really look like you’re inside that drawing. They’re incredible!

There will also be new photo ops, PhotoPass Magic Shots, plenty of merch, and many other fun activities. This is a short but unique festival and is included with your valid EPCOT admission. Try to catch it.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass Expands

Beginning today, Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, Walt Disney World will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all Disney Resort hotels.

Guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa, Moderate, Value Resorts, and other select hotels will be eligible to purchase up to seven days before the first day of their Resort stay – for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days).

Universal Epic Universe Opening Date

Universal Orlando has finally announced the opening date for its newest theme park, Epic Universe!

Drum roll…

May 22, 2025!!!

Are you excited?!?

Tickets will go on sale Oct 22, 2025.

Initially, the only tickets offered will be 3+ day tickets or packages that allow multiple days at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure (and Volcano Bay, if included), plus one separate day at the all new Epic Universe.

Adult (10+) tickets will range from $118-$174 per day ($352-$521 total for 3-day tickets) which includes one day of Epic Universe access.

Note that all ticket lengths will only allow one of those days at Epic Universe. You don’t have to specify which day you’re going to which park, but you may only enter Epic Universe one time during that timeframe. Other ticket options will be announced in the future.

Update: Universal has since released single day tickets to Epic Universe.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews hotel with a private entrance to Epic Universe, will be available for booking beginning October 22nd and also opens May 22nd.

Other Universal hotels near Epic Universe are Stella Nova Resort, opening on January 21, 2025, and Terra Luna Resort, opening on February 25, 2025. Both are available for bookings now.

Stardust Racers is a breathtaking, dual-launch coaster reaching incredible speeds up to 62 mph. Board a comet and rocket to the furthest reaches of the stars, at heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track. Race along an inverted crisscross, known as the “Celestial Spin” in a dazzling display of blazing colors and ethereal music.

On Constellation Carousel, ride celestial lions, dragons, bears, and more as they turn 360 degrees while lifting riders up to 6 feet in the air. Celestial music and color dazzle your senses as you whirl and twirl together across the Milky Way.

Enjoy exceptional seafood and steak in Atlantic, a fine dining restaurant, or sip a cocktail at the lively Aquaria Bar. Starfish dwell peacefully with serene, illuminated fish swimming above you on inside glass walls reminiscent of an enormous Victorian aquarium.

In the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, authentic Pan-Asian fare is served in a bustling courtyard under the glow of ethereal hanging lanterns. Watch dazzling neon dragons chase across the walls as you enjoy a cocktail at The Tiger Bar.

Hurricane Milton Closures

As of Monday, October 7, 2024, Hurricane Milton has been upgraded to a Category 5 and is projected to make a direct hit across Tampa, Orlando, and most of Florida later this week.

Evacuation orders have already been given to several areas near Tampa. Orlando and Tampa airports have announced closures. Some attractions have announced closures and changes to cancellation policies. Of course, more changes will likely be made as it gets closer. Check with your specific transportation, lodging, cruise, and attraction source.

Hurricane Helene Closures

Due to the impending landfall of Hurricane Helene in Florida on Thursday, September 26, 2024, some attractions have announced several closures already. Of course, more changes may be made as it gets closer.

Update Thursday September 26, 2024

Tampa International Airport suspended all commercial and cargo operations beginning at 2 a.m. Thursday ahead of Hurricane Helene, with the Airport remaining closed to the public until it can assess any damage after the storm.

Walt Disney World has announced the following changes for Sept 26th:

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is cancelled. Guest tickets will be refunded.
The Magic Kingdom Park will close at 8pm. The other parks will operate within their usual hours as of now.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed.
Miniature golf courses will be closed.

Disney has stated that they are “closely monitoring the path of the storm as we continue to prioritize the safety of our Guests and Cast Members.”

Universal Orlando has announced the following closures for Sept 26th:

Volcano Bay will be closed.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is canceled.
Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure will close at their regularly scheduled times – with Universal Studios closing at 5 p.m. and Islands of Adventure closing at 8 p.m.
Universal CityWalk will close early at 8 p.m.
Our hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.

If you have a Halloween Horror Nights single night dated ticket or Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass for Thursday, Sept. 26 it will be automatically honored for a single night use through Sunday, Sept. 29.

The SeaWorld family of parks has announced the following changes for Sept 26th:

SeaWorld Orlando will close at 2pm.
Busch Gardens Tampa will be closed.
Adventure Island will be closed.
Aquatica Orlando will be closed.
All date-intended tickets for closure days have been extended through September 30, 2024 and requires no action to be taken.
Discovery Cove will be closed.

Port Canaveral has made the following statement:

Because of the effects of Hurricane Helene, we are anticipating cruise vessels scheduled to arrive at Port Canaveral on Friday, Sept. 27 will be delayed. These delays will likely impact guest embarkation times for outbound sailings. All cruise guests planning to sail from Port Canaveral on Friday, Sept. 27 or Saturday, Sept. 28 are advised to contact their cruise lines to confirm their embarkation and ship’s departure time.

If you have a trip planned through the upcoming weekend, some components of your trip may be affected. Please check for changes before traveling and work with the vendors or your travel agent. Disney Destiny Inaugural Sailings on Sale Now

Disney Cruise Line has announced that their newest ship, the Disney Destiny, will set sail on November 20, 2025!

The Disney Destiny will sail 4-night and 5-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will contain a port day at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay or its newest private destination Lookout Cay. Some sailings have port stops at both locations! This will be DCL’s seventh ship and will be a sister ship to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure ships.

In a departure from the other ships, the theming will be based on Heroes and Villains and will feature a very different style and color scheme. The Grand Hall takes inspiration from Black Panther for the Vibranium chandelier and armor metalwork and will feature T’Challa as the main statue. Marvel theming will be prominent in other areas of the ship as well, such as Spiderman being the stern character.

Restaurants, lounges, and staterooms will be inspired by other heroes and villains, such as The Lion King (new dinner show restaurant), Marvel, Dr Strange, Cruella de Vil, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, Haunted Mansion, Iron Man, and more.

The stage shows will be Disney Seas the Adventure, Frozen – A Musical Spectacular, and unique to the Disney Destiny ship, a new show based on Disney Hercules! This spectacular mythical journey of good vs evil remains true to the film’s essence, yet will present a fresh, modern take for a live theatre audience with pop and gospel musical influences.

The first set of Inaugural Sailings from November 2025 through May 2026 are on sale now! Bookings have started for Castaway Club members and will start for everyone on September 12, 2024.

The buttons to book will be enabled once the booking window opens for you. Make sure to log into your DCL account so that it picks up your Castaway Club level to enable your booking on the correct date.

Note: The Maiden Voyage has special restrictions. The 20% deposit is not refundable if you cancel and you have to pay the balance 120 days before the sail date for suites and concierge staterooms and 90 days for all other staterooms. You cannot use any other discounts, offers, or future cruise credits. No date or lead passenger changes either. So, make sure you’re definitely able to do the cruise before you book that first one. All other sailings follow the regular DCL cancellation/change policies.

If you are a Disney, Pixar and Marvel fan, this is the ship for you. We can’t wait to check out this unique ship! I’m sure the inaugural sailings and especially the maiden voyage will book up very quickly. The best time to book a cruise for the lowest rate will be when the sailing is first released. Tron Ending Virtual Queue

Breaking News! Disney just announced that the Tron ride at the Magic Kingdom Park at Disney World will stop using the Virtual Queue after September 8, 2024! Starting September 9th, you can ride it by walking up anytime in the Standby line, or by buying the Lightning Lane Single Pass for it. It is not included in the Multi-Pass selections.
